This host is a research node for dns-stats.com. The project measures email security adoption across public domains (SPF, DMARC, MTA-STS, TLS-RPT, BIMI, MX, DANE, DKIM, security.txt).

What this server does
The server queries authoritative DNS for public domain records. All traffic is plain DNS over the public internet from Japan. Traffic is intentionally low rate. The crawler claims one batch of domains at a time and queries each domain's nameservers a small number of times.
- No HTTP scraping of websites.
- No port scanning.
- No probing beyond standard DNS record types.
- No traffic to private addresses.
Opt-out
Send an email to abuse@dns-stats.info with the IP
address or the apex domain you want excluded. The request is
honored within 24 hours. Include enough detail to identify the
records (an IP, a domain, or a sample of the queries you saw).
